Into the Woods

Sometimes life becomes too busy, noisy and overwhelming.

Times like this force me to remove myself from my normal everyday life and focus on whats important. Over the weekend I drove away from the hustle and bustle of the city to the nearest national park, losing myself for a few hours in woodlands. Trekking through nature helps balance out my mind and reconnects me back to what is important in my life. We all get so caught up in menial things; I find removing myself helps me refocus on what’s important. I hope you all had a relaxing weekend and refreshed your mind, body and soul.

I CHOOSE HAPPINESS

I have this wall in my bedroom covered in inspirational photos. It sounds silly to say it but every time I look at these photos I feel motivated to go out and do something; to be overtly positive, exercise excessively, to achieve the body I have always wanted, to just dream of a life bigger and better than the one I’ve already imagined. It doesn’t have to be about looking the best or being perfect, it’s about who you are as a person – and ultimately being happy with that person :)
